Social Committee

Your Social Committee, working closely with Management Committee, has been extremely busy putting together the Club's Winter Social Programme and Calendar for the coming months.  
You should have by now received a copy via email to print off and keep for quick reference.
 
You will notice that we have kept to the same format trialed last year due to changing Covid restrictions.  
These format changes continue to prove a great success and a haven for members to come along to enjoy social get togethers.  
Quizzes continue on Tuesday's and Talks and Supper Evenings every other Thursday. 

Unfortunately circumstances meant that our annual Town Band, Mince Pie and Grand Draw evening and our traditional Boxing Day Treasure Hunt and Auction had to be cancelled.
 
Post-Christmas we now start the count down to the annual RNLI Quiz and Burns Night, in January, Valentines Night and Cruisers Dinner in February concluding the Winter Programme with the traditional Fitting Out Supper on 2nd April 2022. 

The rest of the Winter Programme is packed with dates and events not to be missed. 

Sunday Lunches and Fine Dining Evenings also continue and still proving popular so early booking is advisable as these fill up quite quickly.   
Thursday Supper Nights every other week are ideal for getting your crew together or for just a quiet supper with like minded people.  

What could be better no cooking or washing up or should we say loading the dishwasher?  

Wednesdays and what was a busy Cadet night during the summer months on Fridays now turn into quiet times during winter months and again another ideal time for bringing family and friends in for cosy get togethers.  

Don't forget to sign guests in, although if attending regularly it is advisable to think about introducing them to our Associate Membership. 

Whatever the reason for visiting the club this Winter you can be assured of good company and good food.  
John our caterer is exceptional  and a true asset to the club, if you have yet to sample his Sunday Lunches or one of our Supper or Dinner events you are missing out.
